Burning Playable DVD’s From ANY Video File!
If you’re like me, you have a bunch of stored “backups” for your DVD movies that you need to burn to disc so you can watch it on your 46″ Samsung 1080p LCD TV … right?
Well your solution is a nifty program called DVD Flick.
Download DVD Flick, it’s open source, so it’s free!
Install it, and configure your project settings. (The only thing you really need to change is NTSC or PAL, use NTSC if you’re in the United States, PAL for European and Asian users. From the project settings you can choose the quality of encoding as well. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK “BURN PROJECT TO DISC.”
If you click “Edit Title” you can generate “chapters” for DivX movies and such that do not already have them, for easier navigation on your DVD player.
After you’ve toyed around and got your settings perfect, go ahead and Create DVD. It will encode your selected media into DVD format (This will take 4 GB of hard disk space.) and burn it onto a DVD. (This might take a couple hours depending on your computer, so go have a drink and make something to eat.)
Now, sit back, and enjoy!
